Anyone who has ever heard Anonymous 4 perform their repertoire of medieval polyphony chant knows how hauntingly beautiful their harmonies are. Their painstaking attention to detail and authenticity shine through in every one of their recordings. Along with each CD comes a booklet which explains the history of the pieces and the Latin to English/French/German translations.
If you are even slightly interested or curious about medieval chant then do yourself a favor and listen to any one of their CD's. It doesn't take much imagination to picture yourself back in time when these authentic Latin chants were a way of life.
